Georgetown Fête de la Musique

Georgetown Heritage Arts, the Georgetown Business Improvement District, and the Embassy of France-Villa Albertine will host the 2nd annual Fête de la Musique – World Music Day. 40+ musical acts will perform outside in dozens of locations throughout Georgetown (3 pm – 7 pm), or at one of several stages at Villa Albertine. (6 pm – 10 pm). I’ll be performing in Georgetown between 3-7pm; exact time and location TBD.

Each year, over 1,000 cities throw citywide music celebrations around the summer solstice. It started 40+ years ago in France, when the Ministry of Culture imagined a day where free, live music would be everywhere: street corners and parks, rooftops and gardens, storefronts, and mountaintops.
