This final gathering features live sets from artists connected to the exhibition\, highlighting original work that reflects themes of visibility\, value\, and creative autonomy.\nWe will also open the floor for a community open mic. Musicians\, vocalists\, poets\, and sound artists are invited to share original work in a live setting.\n$10 donation at the door – goes directly to artists. \nOpen Mic Details:\n• Sign up at the door\n• Performance slots are limited\n• First come\, first served\n• Early arrival is strongly encouraged \nAbout the Exhibit \nFree Music: The Illusion of Liberation\nBy Michael Bowie and Khadija Jahmila\nCurated in collaboration with Eaton DC \nMusic has long been a force of freedom\, resistance\, refuge\, and change. Yet in the digital age\, where access feels limitless\, artists remain bound by an industry that capitalizes on their work.
