DESCRIPTION:Georgetown Heritage Arts\, the Georgetown Business Improvement District\, and the Embassy of France-Villa Albertine will host the 2nd annual Fête de la Musique – World Music Day. 40+ musical acts will perform outside in dozens of locations throughout Georgetown (3 pm – 7 pm)\, or at one of several stages at Villa Albertine. (6 pm – 10 pm). I’ll be performing in Georgetown between 3-7pm; exact time and location TBD. \nEach year\, over 1\,000 cities throw citywide music celebrations around the summer solstice. It started 40+ years ago in France\, when the Ministry of Culture imagined a day where free\, live music would be everywhere: street corners and parks\, rooftops and gardens\, storefronts\, and mountaintops.
